Alfred T. "Buss" Campbell

Alfred T. “Buss” Campbell, 93 of Huntington passed away peacefully at 4:05 p.m. on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at The Heritage of Huntington. Buss was a 1937 graduate of Andrews High School. He was a member of the Saint Peter and Paul Catholic Church. He farmed for 30 years in Huntington County and had also worked at Schact Rubber Company and retired from Hunkler Products in 1974.

He was born on April 2, 1919 in Huntington County, a son of Everett and Gertrude (Karst) Campbell.

He was united in marriage to Nondas J. Theobald on November 18, 1939 at the Saint Peter and Paul Catholic Church. His beloved wife of 73 years survives.

Additional survivors include two sons: Ted (Patti) Campbell of Fort Wayne; Arden (Katie) Campbell of Wisconsin; a daughter: Melanie (Ron) Mason of Syracuse, IN; a sister: Marie Campbell of Huntington; six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother: William Campbell, a sister: Martha Scheiber and a grandson: Sean Campbell.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 24, 2013 from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 25, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Saint Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 840 Cherry Street, Huntington with Father Ron Rieder officiating.

Memorials may be made out to Saint Peter and Paul Catholic Church in care of Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana 46750.

Interment will be at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
