Austin L. LaCroix, 25, of Huntington passed away Thursday afternoon, September 23, 2021 at Parkview Huntington Hospital. Austin had attended Huntington North High School. He worked as a tradesman plumber and also in construction. He enjoyed Hot Rods, Miami Dolphins football, traveling, being outdoors in nature and spending time with his family.
Austin was born on June 8, 1996 in Muncie, Indiana.
Survivors include his mother: Trinity L. Bonner of Vernon, FL; his father: Freeman W. (Sarah) LaCroix of Huntington; stepfather: Thomas M. Wilcox of Fort Wayne; five brothers: Rhand H. Warnell of Coldwater, MI, Thomas R. “Tommy” Bonner of Vernon, FL, Evan Wall, Freeman LaCroix III and Bill LaCroix all of Huntington; six sisters: Brianna Bonner and Serenity Marie Bonner both of Vernon, FL, Madison Jennings, Mackenzie LaCroix, Hannah Milligan and Savannah LaCroix all of Huntington; grandparents: Brian Bonner, Lora LaCroix and Kathy Zeissig; three uncles: Terry LaCroix, Jerry LaCroix and Tony LaCroix.
He was preceded in death by a sister: Trinity Bonner and step grandmother: Angela Jean Bonner.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021 from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 3:00 pm. We will be following the CDC’s and Indiana’s guidelines.
Interment will be at the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Huntington.
