Carol A. Campbell

Carol A. Campbell, 63 of Fort Wayne passed away at 11:08 pm on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at St. Joseph Hospital. Carol was a graduate of Huntington North High School and later received her bachelor’s degree from Ball State University. She worked in social work for many years, working at Johnny Appleseed and Bi-County Services. She retired from Your Friends and Neighbors after 25 years. She loved playing bingo, making jewelry and family game night. She enjoyed cats and going on trips. She spent the last year of her life at Kingston Care Center in Fort Wayne.

Carol was born on September 18, 1952 in Huntington, the daughter of Eldon and Irma (Harvey) Campbell.

Survivors include two sisters: Joyce (Allen) Williams of Roanoke; Connie (Richard) Fruchtnicht of Greensburg; an uncle: Dale Wall of Huntington; an aunt: Marge Harvey of Merrillville; significant other: Steve Buckles of Fort Wayne; friend: Nikole Gilbert of Fort Wayne; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.

Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 2:00 pm following visitation at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel.
