Clifford L. Webb

Clifford L. Webb, 97 of North Manchester and formerly of Bippus passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at Peabody Retirement Community. He served in the United States Army during WWII as a machinist, he received 4 combat stars for bravery during the war. He was co-owner of the W & W Meat Locker in Bippus. Clifford was a member of New Hope United Church of Christ. He was a volunteer fireman in Bippus for 33 years and coached little league for 25 years. He enjoyed fishing at Silver Lake and was a handyman that could fix anything.
Clifford was born on November 17, 1922 in Huntington, the son of the late Herbert and Jenny (Carl) Webb.
He was united in marriage to Jean M. Wood on October 17, 1942 in Huntington. Jean preceded him in death on June 18, 2002. He later married Evelyn Greer in 2003 at the Servia United Church of Christ. Evelyn preceded him in death in 2018.
Survivors include two sons: Bill (Rita) Webb of Kendallville, John (Jeanie) Webb of Syracuse; three daughters: Christine Webb of Angola, Angie Webb of Indianapolis, Caroline (Paul) Howard of North Manchester; 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by five siblings.
Private family services.
Interment will be at the Fairview Cemetery in Servia, Indiana.
