Curtis A. Spath, 66 of Huntington passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. He worked as a custodian at Mercer County Nursing Home and Heritage of Huntington. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing. Curt was an amazing grandpa that loved all of his grandkids.
He was born on May 26, 1954 in Huntington, the son of Robert and Lorettia (Folk) Spath.
Survivors include three sons: Craig (Rita) Spath of Huntington, Chris Spath of Muncie, Troy (Deanna) Spath of Muncie; a daughter: Misty Heister of Texas; his mother: Lorettia Spath of Huntington; three brothers: Robert Spath of Kendallville, Jack (Fiona) Spath of Utah, Rod (Linda) Spath of Huntington; two sisters: Emma (Kenney) Gressley of Huntington, Becky Holmes of Huntington; twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his father: Robert Spath and three sisters: Judy Phillips, Linda Stone, Donna Mae Spath.
Private family memorial service will take place at a later date.
