Gregory "Greg" Harrell, 68 of Huntington, passed away on Tuesday morning, November 25, 2025 at The Waters in Huntington. Greg was a 1975 graduate of Huntington North High School. He drove trucks for Kroger and USF Holland for over 20 years. He was a member of the Teamsters Union and a lifetime member of the Portland Tri-State Antique Engine and Tractor show. Greg loved collecting old antique Coleman Lanterns and gear, as well as Briggs and Straton engines. He enjoyed woodworking and working on his 1955 Chevy Bel-Air restoration. Greg really enjoy camping with his family and friends.
Greg was born on July 5, 1957 in Huntington, the son of the late P. Thomas and Opal (Ziner) Harrell.
He was united in marriage to Donna Harris on March 21, 1992 in Huntington. Donna survives.
Additional survivors include three sons: Jason Harrell of Huntington, Justin Harrell of Huntington, Jacob Harrell of Huntington; three brothers: Jack Harrell of Roanoke, Daniel (Linda) Harrell of Warren, Gary (Holly) Harrell of Huntington; two sisters: Diana (Terry) Hoffman of Macy, IN, Debra Bruch of Huntington and a granddaughter: Kaylee Harrell of Huntington.
He was preceded in death by his parents: P. Thomas Harrell, Opal Harrell; three brothers: Carl Harrell, Ralph Harrell, Richard Harrell; and a brother-in-law: Dennis Bruch.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm with funeral service to be held following visitation at 6:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.
Interment will be at the Hopewell Cemetery in Lagro.
