Gary L. Perry 69, of Huntington passed away on Thursday October 3, 2024 at his residence. Gary worked at General Motors for 37 years. He enjoyed bowling, and was an avid tractor collector. He enjoyed attending tractor pulls and swap meets. Gary was a great handyman that love to tinker and fix anything. Most of all Gary loved to spend time with his grandchildren and enjoy the company of his pets Sadie and Skye.
Gary was born on December 21, 1954 in Janesville WI, a son of the late Ralph and Katherine Perry.
He was united in marriage to Deborah Rice. His wife survives.
Additional survivors include a son: Robert Perry of Huntington; a daughter: Jennifer Perry of Huntington; a brother: David Perry of Wisconsin; a sister: Betty Hirano of Kentucky; a brother-in-law: Richard Vanalstine of Wisconsin; a sister-in-law: Sue Perry of Wisconsin; three grandchildren: Kaylynn Perry, Derrick Kennedy, and Grayson Broyles and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and in-laws: Frank and Beverly Rice Sr.; two brothers: Donald Perry and Ralph Perry; a sister: Caroline Vanalstine; and a brother-in-law: Kim Hirano.
Visitation will take place on Monday October 7, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, located at 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington IN 46750.
A Funeral Service will take place on Monday October 7, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. immediately following the visitation at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel.
