Iva Virginia Glass, age 72, of Huntington, Indiana passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2025 at the Waters of Huntington. Pathfinders was very instrumental in Iva's life. In her younger years Iva worked and helped out at the Maryland School of the Chimes. She loved spending time with her roomates, attending church, and her meetings with pastor C.J. Fields. Some of her favorite things included the Golden Girls, and especially Curious George.
Iva was born on July 24, 1952 in Baltimore, a daughter of the late Robert and Helen (Kelley) Glass.
Survivors include a niece: Beth (Scott) Stevens of Roanoke; a nephew: Alan Bryan of Paris IL; a cousin: Catherine (Van) Maddox of Baltimore; and several great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters: Helen Bryan, and Mary Anna Pearce; and three brothers: William Glass, Johnny Glass, and Winston Glass.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday May 27, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, located at 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington IN 46750.
Interment will take place in Baltimore Maryland at a later date.
