Jeanine Marie Willour, 85, of Huntington passed away on Thursday February 20, 2025 at Parkview Huntington Hospital. Jeanine had worked in the trucking industry for 48 years. She enjoyed being outside in nature and loved watching sports, especially baseball and college basketball. She was an avid fan of IU basketball, the Atlanta Braves, and the Detroit Tigers. Jeanine enjoyed doing puzzles, loved reading, and making trips to the library. Most importantly, she loved being a grandmother and watching her grandchildren play sports.
Jeanine was born on January 5, 1940 in Huntington, a daughter of the late William and Florence Sunderman.
Survivors include two sons: Kevin (Cindy) Willour of Albion, and Travis (Elaine) Willour of Huntington; three grandchildren: Alicia (Alex) Brubaker of Fort Wayne, Trevis (Haley Houser) Willour of Huntington, and Trevor (Daniele) Willour of Chrisman IL; and five great grandchildren: Breckyn Brubaker, Berkley Brubaker, Oakleigh Willour, Blake Willour, and Scarlett Willour.
She was preceded in death by a sister Charmaine Ball.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday February 28, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, located at 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington IN 46750.
A private family service will be following the gathering of family and friends.
Interment will take place at Lancaster Cemetery.
