Joyce E. McClure

Joyce E. McClure, 68 of Roanoke passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2019 at Lutheran Hospital. Joyce was a graduate of Huntington North High School. She owned and operated her own cleaning service. She also worked as a home healthcare provider. She was a member of Sonrise Church Munson Chapel. Joyce loved her church and loved spending time with her grandkids. Joyce was born on November 18, 1950 in Fort Wayne, the daughter of Max D. and Elsie G. (Burris) Baker. Survivors include a daughter: Janelle (Chris) Fancil of Syracuse, IN; two sons: Joe Weller of LaFontaine; Ches (Heather) McClure of Huntington; two brothers: Cecil Baker of Fort Wayne; Tracy (Sherry) Baker of Roanoke; two sisters: Shirley Wall of Fort Wayne; Jeanie (Mike) Eckert of Columbia City; six grandchildren: Sydney (Josh) Doctor, Tess Fancil, Haylee (Jarrus) Jones, Madalyn Weller, Cameron Covey and a great grandchild: Nevaeh Jones. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter: Jo Ellen Weller, and a grandchild: Carleigh Rose McClure. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2019 from 3:00pm – 8:00pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana. Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 19, 2019 at 11:00am with one hour of visitation prior to the service at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel with Pastor Randy Samuels officiating. Interment will be held at the Glenwood Cemetery at a later date.
