Lora L. (Richardson) Sexton, 49 of Andrews passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Lora was a 1989 graduate of Huntington North High School. She worked as a recruiter for Merit Logistics. She loved riding motorcycles and old muscle cars. Lora lived for and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was very excited to be a grandmother. She enjoyed her dog J.J.
Lora was born on September 30, 1971 in Wabash, the daughter of Dennis Richardson and Christine Proffitt.
Survivors include a daughter: Jessica Hall of Ossian; a son: Jarrod (Abi) Sexton of Ossian; father and stepmother: Dennis and Julie Richardson of Huntington; mother and stepfather: Christine and Lendley Cross of Andrews; three sisters: Tammy Richardson of Selah, Washington, Amanda (Adam) Stroup of Huntington, Mallorie (David) Malicki of Huntington; two brothers: Tyler (Brandy) Richardson of Huntington, Josh (Candice) Cross of Marion; paternal grandmother: Marjorie Richardson of Huntington and a granddaughter: Teagan Sexton on the way.
She was preceded in death by grandfather: Doyle Richardson and grandparents: Ralph and Norma Jean Proffitt.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 30, 2021 from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana. Memorial service following visitation at 3:00 pm. We will be following the CDC’s and Indiana’s guidelines for masks, social distancing and social gathering limits.
