Russell D. Wallace

Russell D. Wallace, 71 of Andrews passed away at his residence on March 20, 2022. Russell had worked for Essex/Dana for 32 years in Andrews. He later worked at Tuthill Manufacturing in New Haven for several years, retiring in the mid 2000’s. He later worked part-time for St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fort Wayne as a custodian for 8 years and AMH Enterprise. Russell loved camping, fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed tinkering and trying to fix things. He loved his dogs, chickens and ducks. Russell was born on June 30, 1950 in Hartford City, the son of the late Gilbert and Dorothy (Coons) Wallace. He was united in marriage to Judy Graf on December 20, 1969 in Andrews. Survivors include his wife: Judy Wallace of Andrews; a daughter: Brenda (Alex) Roberson of Huntington; a sister: Ellen (Allen) Fisher of Peru; two grandchildren: Alexa Diaz and Blue Diaz. He was preceded in death by a daughter: Debbie Wallace; two brothers: Larry Reichenbaugh and Melvin Lee. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2022 from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2022 following visitation at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with Anthony Henry officiating. Interment will be at the Riverside Cemetery in Andrews at a later date.
