BETTY FRANCES TABOR, 83 of Huntington, widow of Leonard "Tom" Tabor, passed away Thursday September 18, 2014 in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Community of Grace United Methodist Church, with Pastor Steve Hamrick, and Pastor Mike Chapman officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Memorial Park. She was born March 27, 1931, in Hamlin, W.Va., a daughter of the late Walter S. and Effie Ellen Bryant Yeager. Also preceding her in death was a brother and sister-in-law, Bobby L. and Maxine Yeager and a son-in-law Dave McDonie. She was a member of Community of Grace United Methodist Church and the former Southside United Methodist Church where she served as secretary at both churches. Survivors include one daughter, Rebecca E. McDonie of Huntington; one granddaughter and her husband, Beth and Jeff Copley; a great-granddaughter, Averie Lee Copley all of Huntington; a nephew and his wife, John and Sara Bergeson, a great-niece Shalan Bergeson and a great-nephew Brandon Bergeson all of Columbus, Ohio; and a son-in-law and his wife, Ross A. and Darlene Cummings of Huntington; and a host of other family, friends and church family. Friends may call one hour prior to service time Saturday September 20, 2014, at the church. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House.
