WANDA LEE VICKERS, 88, of Huntington, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2014 in Chateau Grove Senior Living Center. She was born March 21, 1926 in Huntington WV, a daughter of the late Noah Myers and Della Myers Grooms. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Vickers; and son, Michael Gethen Jenkins. She is survived by grandson Matthew R. Jenkins wife Ginger Jenkins, and great-grandchildren Michael Jenkins and Reid Jenkins of Raleigh, NC, daughter in law Nancy Jenkins of Raleigh, NC, sister Nancy Akers of Titusville, FL, and niece Tina Owen. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, October 7, 2014 in the Abbey of Remembrance at Woodmere Memorial Park in Huntington.
