Alice Falls passed away peacefully while napping Saturday, August 5th, 2023. Alice was a talented singer, artist, seamstress and generally a quick study. She married Raymond L. Falls, Jr., a corporate litigator at Cahill, Gordon and Reindel, and remained married for 39 years until Raymond’s passing in 1991.
Alice and Ray moved to New York City where they welcomed the births of their children Janette Kerr, Nancy Falls-Aronchick, Raymond T. Falls, Thomas Falls and Lawrence Falls. The couple travelled the world and frequently included their children. Alice was inspired by the arts in all fields including music, fine art and culinary execution.
Alice used these skills and passions in service of charitable organizations. She was one of the directors of the Brick Church in Manhattan and also the Chairperson of the Women’s Association for over a decade.
After her husband’s passing she split her time between Vero Beach, Fl. and Nantucket, Ma. where she continued to paint and share her culinary efforts with friends and family alike. She was a generous and empathetic person who is survived by her children and 8 grandchildren (Shannon, Thomas, Jehnsen, Russel, Jacklin, Monica, David and Kyle).
The family plans a private graveside service on Nantucket.
She will be deeply missed.
