Anna DiNitto

DiNitto, Anna of Hyannis, formerly of Somerville passed away on March 12, 2015. Anna was born and raised in Gaeta, Italy. She was predeceased by her loving husband Gerard “Tony” DiNitto in 1971. She leaves behind her devoted daughter Lucy and her husband Richard Surmach of Hyannis and her daughter-in-law Heather DiNitto. She was predeceased by her most cherished son Nicolas “Nick” DiNitto and her sister Jenny DiBiase. She is survived by her sister Phyllis DiCiaccio of Malden. Loving Grandmother of Michael Surmach of Hyannis, Janet DeAngelis and husband Neil of Medfield and Tina Caro and husband James of Medfield. She cherished her great- grandchildren Alexandra, Andrew, Jonathan, Morgan, and Nicolas. Loving aunt to Raymond DiBiase and wife Judy. Visitation will be held at Doane, Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 160 West Main Street, Hyannis, MA. On Monday March 16, 2015 from 9:00AM – 10:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Francis Xavier Church, 347 South Street Hyannis, MA at 11:00AM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Anna’s memory to St. Jude children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
