

Donna spent her entire life on beautiful Cape Cod where she was born and raised. She proudly graduated from Barnstable High School in 1962. Donna was an animal enthusiast, and her passion for them began at a young age. She started by raising bunnies and soon moved on to horses, which became her heart’s true calling. She became an expert equestrian, winning numerous trophies and leaving an indelible mark on the world of horse riding. Her dedication to teaching riding lessons over the years earned her the love and respect of all who knew her. Later in life, she found solace and companionship in her beloved dog, Freckles, and her cat, Freedom.
Donna was predeceased by her beloved son, David Elwyn Clough, and her dear brother, David Larkin Swift. She is survived by her loving daughter, Deborah Ann Clough, and her grandchildren, Brandon C. Campbell and Samantha J. Campbell. She is also survived by her former husband, Arlo E. Clough.
A graveside service will be held at Mosswood Cemetery, 280 Putnam Ave., Cotuit, on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at 11:00 AM.
The family expresses their deep gratitude to all the staff at Windsor Nursing Home in South Yarmouth, MA, who helped care for her during her final years.
