

Edward A. “Bud” Paduck, 69, died unexpectedly May 29, 2012. He was born, raised and educated in Norwood MA. Following graduation from Norwood High School, he proudly served in the U. S. Air Force from 1961 – 1965 in France. Following his return, he married his wife Leona (Sansone) in 1966. The couple relocated to Cape Cod in 1968 where Bud secured a position with the Cape Cod Times. He spent over 40 years working for the paper as a Composing Room Supervisor prior to his retirement four years ago.
Bud was a very social person with a wonderful sense of humor and loved to spend time with his friends at Jack’s in Hyannis. He was extremely proud of his Polish/Irish heritage. He loved summers on the Cape, spending time at the beach, doing yard work/gardening, and following the Boston sports teams. He adored his grandchildren and the opportunity to listen to his son’s band play out at various venues including the Improper Bostonian.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Leona as well as his mother Margaret Paduck of Norwood. He leaves his sons, Edward and wife Erin of Weymouth, Michael and wife Heather of Scituate and Daniel and wife Tina of Weston. He is also survived by his brother, Dennis and wife Mariana of S. Kingston, RI as well as his grandchildren, Aidan, Emmeline, Colin, Alexa, Kian and Parker.
Visiting hours will be on Sunday June 3, 2012 from 4-7pm at the Doane Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 160 W. Main St. Hyannis, MA 02601. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday June 4, 2012 at Our Lady of Victory Church, 230 S. Main St. Centerville at 10am. Interment will be at a later date.
