Estelle Agnes Kolf

Estelle (Lopes, Dagwan) Kolf passed away on February 14,2025 at the age of 94. Stell was born in Mashpee, MA to Nicholas and Sophia Evelyn Lopes and was a proud member of the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe. Her native name was Silver Fox.

Estelle attended Barnstable schools and as an adult after living in Puerto Rico, Virginia, Ohio and New Jersey, she returned home to Hyannis in 2017.

Stell was a woman of faith who loved her family, gardening, baking for others and for decades shared many of her lovely, knitted creations with family and friends.

She is predeceased by her husband Rodney Kolf, her daughter, Jean Dagwan Cadet, siblings: Ernestine Harrison, Bertha Simmons, Geraldine (Jodi) Ravida, Charles and Nicholas Jr (Buddy).

She is survived by her son Ralph Dagwan and wife Debra, siblings: Veda Bryant, Patricia Rice, Tee Lopes, Barbara Barboza, Margaret Pena Carambot and Rodney Lopes as well as granddaughter Adela and grandson Michael and many nieces and nephews.

Celebration of life will be at Zion Union Heritage Museum, 276 North Street, Hyannis, MA 02601 at 4pm on Saturday, June 28, 2025.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mashpee Baptist Church, 27 Great Neck Road, North Mashpee, MA 02649.
