

Fred proudly served in the United States Army from 1954-1956. Fred graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 1958 and briefly attended Georgetown University to study law before he began his family and lengthy career in sales and financial services.
He and his wife Mary, who survives him, would have celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary in September. He is survived by his children, Frederick J. Aziz III and wife Cecilia and their children Jennifer Aziz (Stanley Miles), and Lauren Aziz; Gregory and wife Anny Aziz; Peter Aziz and his children with Barbara, Natalie Cooper (Christopher) and Samuel Frederick Aziz; Christine Aziz and wife Laura Cernohlavek; and Jonathan Aziz. He is also survived by his sisters Nancy Smith and Marcia Moran as well as many loved nieces and nephews.
Fred loved big band jazz music especially Benny Goodman’s Big Band and Tommy Dorsey.
Fred was an avid golfer and especially enjoyed playing with his children and grandchildren. He was a charter member at The Barnstable Fairgrounds golf course and played any day the weather allowed. He enjoyed the company of fellow veterans and giving the occasional needle to Marines, Navy, and Air Force members while on the course. Over the course of his many golf seasons, Fred carded three holes in one!
Fred will be remembered and revered by his family as a protective, devoted teacher, coach and occasional practical joker.
May he rest in eternal peace and may the boxes of popsicles in heaven contain only orange ones. You can breathe easy now so hit ‘em straight and long!
Fred will be interred at the National Cemetery in Bourne in a private ceremony.
