Born on August 13, 1930, in Brockton, MA, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Helen (Blee) Johnson.
Helen attended Brockton Schools and moved to the Cape in 1949. For over 20 years, she was a bookkeeper for Angelo’s Supermarket. She later went on to work for Stage Stop Candies in Dennisport.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Harold E. Brooks, Jr. and her brother, Robert Johnson.
Helen is survived by her son, David E. Brooks of Quincy; her daughter, Catherine Brooks Cameron and her husband, Douglas Sena of Montague, MA, her granddaughter, Virginia Bulleman and her husband, Paul; her two great grandchildren, Paloma and Eden Bulleman; her brother, Paul Johnson of Bourne; her sisters, Eileen Whiting of Florida, Mary Brown of Bourne; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Burial will take place in Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
