Mark Lamar

on January 31,1969, and was the son of Richard and Claire Lamar ( Rivard.) He was born with

Down Syndrome and Cerebral Palsy, and a love for professional wrestling and the Boston

Bruins. Mark was a kind and loving man. He could be a bit stubborn, not liking to take

“no” for an answer, especially if you told him you were all out of bananas ( his favorite fruit.)

He loved his caregivers Barbara Pratt and Jennefer Lambert who were family to him. Mark’s

family in South Dakota, is forever grateful to Barbara and Jen for the love and devotion they

have provided him through the many years Mark has lived with them. Mark was predeceased

by his mother Claire and is survived by his father Richard, sister Leila and husband Stephen, nieces

Hannah, Samantha and Rebecca and a nephew Cameron. A Catholic graveside service will be

celebrated at 11:00 am Saturday, October 7th at Mosswood Cemetery. Everyone who loved

and knew Mark is welcome to the home of Barbara Pratt at 148 Starlight Dr., Marstons Mills,

immediately following the service.
