Mary Anne Fisher, 55 years old of Chatham MA passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, September 19th, 2022. She was born and raised in Boston MA as the second youngest of six brothers and sisters, to Nancy A. Fisher, a hard-working mother, and Edmund C. Fisher on March 08, 1967. She was blessed to have two sisters named Anna M. Decoste and Susanne M. Camillo as well as her three brothers Joeseph M. Fisher, John M. Fisher and Edmund T. Fisher Jr. She gave birth to three loving children named James M. McAvoy Jr., Lillian M. Rose, and Dorothy A. Rose. Growing up, Mary was dedicated to receiving an education. She graduated from Laboure College with an associate degree in science. She worked as a registered nurse for most of her life and was dedicated to helping so many people and families. She was kindhearted and cared so much for others.
Mary enjoyed spending most of her time with family and friends, and loved animals, and especially found comfort in taking care of her pet cats and dogs throughout her life. She was kind, talkative, funny, and just the best person you could ever meet. She loved helping others and was never afraid to have uncomfortable conversations. She moved to Cape Cod because she wanted to be closer to the ocean as she enjoyed swimming and being out in the sun. A wake service will be held for Mary and open to family and friends on Tuesday October 4th, 2022 at the Doane Beale and Ames Funeral home located at 160 W Main Street Hyannis MA, 02601. There will also be a Funeral and a memorial service held for Mary at a later date that will also be open to family and friends as well.
Mary is survived by her daughters Lillian M. Rose and Dorothy A. Rose and her sister Susan M. Camillo and her brothers Edmund C., Joseph M., and John M. Fisher. She is preceded in death by her son James M. McAvoy Jr., her sister Anna M. Decoste, her mother Nancy A. Fisher, and her father Edmund C. Fisher.
