Born in Worcester, she was a daughter of the late William J. and Evelyn B. Adams.
Phyllis spent the last 36 years on Cape Cod, a place she truly cherished. She worked in various stores as a clerk, and received great enjoyment out of caring for animals.
Phyllis is survived and will be deeply missed by her two sons, Lou Janssen, and Pierre Janssen and his wife Penny; three grandchildren, Joshua, Chelsea, and Jessica Janssen; as well as her siblings, Donald R. Adams and his wife Brenda, Philip Adams and his wife Lydia, Kevin Adams and Lois Wilson, and Joyce Moss; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends.
She was predeceased by her two brothers, Richard and William J. “Butch” Adams.
Services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Phyllis’ name to the MSPCA of Cape Cod, 1577 Falmouth Rd, Centerville, MA 02632.
