Out of high school Ronnie enlisted and served in the United Staes Air Force. He earned an Aerospace Engineering degree from Boston University and a Masters in Business from Suffolk University. He was a proud Aerospace Engineer for GE and later started his own business as a building contractor.
Ronnie’s greatest joys were cooking, bowling, golf, movies, and exploring new restaurants. He loved traveling and testing the local cuisine each destination had to offer. He had a passion for learning and passing on knowledge to others. His sense of humor, constant teasing, always lit up the room as he loved making those around him smile. He enjoyed entertaining and always had a cheese platter or a bowl of nuts at the ready.
Ronnie will always be remembered for how much he loved his family. “Paparoni” adored his six grandchildren and enjoyed many years of playing, teaching, and attending their horseback riding events, soccer and hockey games.
Ronnie is survived by his wife, Deborah (Kusch) Montaquila; his three children: W. Patrick Boufford (Denise) of Brewster; Renee Mason (F.J.) of Hyannis; Adrienne Joyce (Peter) of Charlotte, N.C. ; his six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his sister Geraldine Sansone. In addition to being predeceased by his parents, he is also predeceased by his first wife, Pauline D’Agostino. Memorial visitation will be held at Doane Beal and Ames, 160 West Main Street, Hyannis on Saturday March 13, 2021 from 2-4 pm followed by a memorial service at 4:30 pm.
