

William G. Kelly, beloved husband of Jan-Lois Kelly, were together 44 years before his death on November 12, 2013, after a long battle with lung cancer. He was a self employed local business owner doing construction work as "Kelly Roofing and Siding" for 20 years. He specialized in classic roofs and was involved in many custom building projects here on the Cape. He prided himself that he never used a staple gun......each shingle was hand nailed. He was well known for his attention to detail and projects included, ..Nauticus Marina, Osterville,..Fernbrook Bed n Breakfast, Centerville...Dennis Playhouse Theater, and much more. He spent many of his younger year's
Working as a long haul trucker throughout the country. .sometimes with his wife Jan-Lois. His main passion of employment were the years spent in the Commercial Fishing Industry. He loved being near the water and spent many years shell fishing on the flats on and around Cape Cod. He was known by so many as a great Phylosopher with a quick wit and was dubbed at one point by the Cape Cod Times as "The Cape Cod Cowboy." Bill was a graduate of Barnstable High School. He traveled for many years and always ended up coming back to the Cape.
William was the son of the late George and Margorie (Gardiner) Kelly of Centerville, Ma. Besides his loving wife, Jan-Lois, he is survived by his seven children Leah Evans, Wendy-lee Gonzalez, and Brian Kelly, of NH and Sean Kelly, Shane Kelly, Shannon Kelly, And Kimberly DeLeon of MA, one Nephew, Jason Ricard of NH, 17 Grandchildren, one Great Grandaughter; his mother in law, Rieta Comeau of NH and his constant four legged buddy Tank.
Bill always said, "There is nothing more important in life than family. .... that's what it's all about. " he will be sorely missed by all who knew him, familyand friends.
