Mr. Hunt was my band teacher at Temple View Elementary and I remember one very fun summer taking Summer Band co-taught by Mr. Hunt and Mr. Schooler in the summer of 1979.

My condolences to the entire family.

I went to grade school and high school (IF class of 1959) with Darrell and I have always valued his friendship. Over the years when we would run into each other, we would always have a lenghty discussion remembering the  good old days along with many laughs. Darrell was a kind and gentle person, always a friend to others. I'll will always remember the big smile on his face whenever he would see each other.It was an honor to have known him.
