Alexis "Lexi" Nichole Quessenberry

Lexi graduated in 2020 from Galena Kansas High School and after school she worked in healthcare while attending Crowder College for a Nursing Degree. After working in the health care field, she decided to later change direction to peruse in becoming a professional dog groomer. She attended and graduated from Pawsperity in 2024.

She loved everyone. She loved her residents. She loved animals. She didn't know a stranger. She had strong faith. Great sense of humor. She loved life to the fullest. She loved eating at new restaurants and sightseeing. She loved shopping at Dollar Tree, and most of all Lexi loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

She was preceded in death by Daisy Huse, Wendell Quessenberry, Thomas Guess and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Lexi is survived by Her father Russell Quessenberry, (fiancé Hilary Butterfield), mother Virginia Guess (Crowder)(husband Steve Crowder). Her siblings are Joshua Quessenberry, Cheyenne Crowder, Weston Crowder (wife Shelbie Crowder) Kaitlyn Crowder, Arabella Butterfield, Her Dog Jaxon Michael, her grandma, many aunts, uncles, two nephews and many cousins.

A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held at Abundant Life Church, 112 West 23rd S, Independence, Missouri 64055, on May 16, 2026, from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm.
