Charles was born to Charles Frederick Hubbard and Edna Leona (Bernhardy) Hubbard on October 19, 1939 in Kansas City, MO.
He graduated William Chrisman in 1958. He married Judith Ann McCaughey March 4, 1958, from this union they had Kimberly, Anthony, Shelley, and Mark.
Topper was employed with the Coca Cola Co., for 43 years until he retired in 2005. In his retirement he loved to fish, go antiquing, family reunions and loved to spend time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is survived by daughter; Kimberly (Daniel) Smith, son; Anthony (Marilynn) Hubbard, daughter; Shelley (Ray) Neises, and son; Mark Hubbard, grandchildren; Renee (Donald) Bullard, Michelle (Gerald) Garner, Charles (Marsha) Ginnings, Brandon (Faithlyn) Hubbard, Crystal (Jeff) Harley, Jennifer Ginnings, Amber Hubbard (Anthony) Ranallo, Jake (Samantha) Hubbard, Megan Hubbard, Morgan Hubbard and Jordan Hubbard. 34 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, brother, Gerald (Joani) Hubbard and 2 sisters; Caroline Williams, and Martha Noonan, Sherri Sickles (who he considered a daughter) many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held on Friday, March 25, 2022 at Newcomer's Noland Road Chapel, 509 S. Noland Rd. Independence, MO.
Visitation 10-11am, followed by a service at 11am, burial to follow immediately after services at Park Lawn Cemetery 8251 Hillcrest Rd, Kansas City, MO 64138
