Debra Sue Bass

Debra was born in Houston, Missouri to Lyle Ray Dixon and Erlene Olivia Hall. She enjoyed shopping, baking, camping, and spending time with her devoted companion and her family. She cared for any stray cat that wandered to her door. Her loving spirit and infectious smile will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.

Debra is survived by the longtime love of her life, Lee Roberts. She leaves behind a lasting legacy through her three loving children and their spouses:

Dusty Nadine (Bass) Dyer and Craig Steven Dyer

Nicki Renee (Bass) Benson and Michael Aaron Kirby

Debra was a cherished grandmother to eighteen grandchildren: Casey, Megan, Mackenzie, Logan, Tiffany, Katie, Cole, Payton, Madison, Skylar, Kaylee, Kiefer, Cameron, Kiera, Harleigh, Kolton, Jackson, and Kage. She was also a proud great-grandmother to seven great-grandchildren: Hadleigh, Sebastian, Kamdin, Teagan, Skylar, Marleigh, and Baylee.

Debra is also survived by her mother, Erlene, her two sisters, Carol and Sheila, and her brother, Jake, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends, as well as her beloved Allie cat.

A celebration of life service will be held at the VFW Hall at 12810 E Kentucky Rd, Independence, MO 64050 on Friday, December 5, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
