She was born on October 26, 1949 in Kansas City, Missouri to Melvin P. and Martha F. (Baldwin) Roark.
Frances grew up in Kansas City, Missouri. She graduated from Northeast High School in Kansas City, Missouri in 1967. Frances was in a lifelong marriage and partnership with Paul H. Maxville.
She enjoyed being a loving, teaching, caring mother. She loved her pets. She also enjoyed crocheting and crafting.
Frances is survived by her sons: Paul, Danny, Terry, Johnny and Donald Maxville; her daughters: Angela Stevens, Brandy and Gemini Maxville; her brother: Stanley Roark; sisters: Evelyn Plonski, Carol Wetzel, Brenda Taylor, Diona Sims, Deonna Parker and Debra Schoonover; 18 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband: Paul H. Maxville; parents: Melvin and Martha Roark; brothers: Marvin Jones, Melvin Roark, Richard Jones; sister: Theresa Davis and daughter: Tammela Sarkar.
Services will be held at Newcomer’s Noland Road Chapel located at 509 S. Noland Road, Independence, Missouri 64050 with visitation at 10am and funeral service beginning at 11am on Monday, March 21, 2022. The family will be greeting friends and relatives upon arrival. Burial will follow the funeral at Agency Cemetery.
