George was a man of few words, but a good listener willing to sit and listen to anyone at any time. Taking a drive in the country and finding a new place for fishing has always been one of his go to activities. In his later years friends and family would make time for an outing of a country drive to find a new fishing hole. It always brought a smile to his face when he was able to visit with his grandkids, great grandkids and
great- great grandkids. Even if he just sat and watched the run around.
He is survived by his children: David (Gail) Cook, Richard Cook, Brenda (Steve) Robinson and Gary (Ruth) Cook. He was blessed with 6 grandchildren: Jason (Beth) Cook, Abby Robinson, Sam (Rachel) Robinson, Stephanie Hayes, Monica (Matt) Hutfles and Cameron (Brook Terry) Cook. Along with 13 great grandchildren: Eric (Michaela) Cook, Evan Cook, Nolan Cook, Ethan Cook, Emma Cook, Landon Green, Chevy Burnett, Rachael Hutfles and Bailey Hutfles, Bruce Hayes, Abraham Robinson (Abe), Luke Robinson and Waylon Cook.
