Jesse lived a life defined by hard work, craftsmanship, and devotion. He had a true passion for upholstery, a craft he poured his heart into for decades. His hands restored what was worn, revived what was forgotten, and brought comfort and beauty back into the homes, cars and boats of countless people. Every piece he touched carried his patience, skill, and pride.
As he began to retire from his upholstery work he traveled between Kansas City, Missouri; Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Albuquerque, New Mexico and Phoenix, Arizona, making sure he stayed connected to the people who meant the most to him.
Jesse was married to and survived by Paula Craner, with whom he shared the early chapters of his life along with their two children.
Jesse is survived by his daughter Clara Elmore and her spouse Charlie Elmore; his son Jay Masoner and his significant other Marilyn; and his seven grandchildren: Brittany Elmore, Charles Elmore, Luke Elmore, Ellysia Masoner, Kanani Masoner, Sialao “Diego” Masoner, and Jay Masoner Jr. He also leaves behind seven great‑grandchildren, some he never got the chance to meet.
Jesse is survived by his siblings, Dixie Tritico (Masoner), Tasha Hernandez (Masoner), and Patricia Taylor (Masoner).
He is preceded in death by Karen Masoner, of his second marriage, and his siblings: Phillip "Lurch" Masoner, Ricky Masoner, Terry Masoner, Helen Masoner, Steve Masoner, Donald Masoner.
Jesse will be remembered for his humor, his love for Pepsi and animals. He was always wanting to help others when he could, and couldn't just sit and relax, but had to always be busy with his hands, fixing something, and making something.
His legacy lives on in the memories he created, the lessons he passed down, and the love he gave to those that meant the world to him.
In accordance with Jesse’s wishes, he will be cremated.
