Sandra Kay Crain

Sandra Kay Crain, 78, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2021 at The Groves in Independence, MO. Sandra, or as she known by friends Sandy, was born on August 14, l943, in Greenfield, Missouri. She was a 1961 graduate of William Chrisman High School in Independence, Mo. She worked in the insurance business at BMA for many years. Sandy was a very faithful member of Sycamore Hills Baptist Church where she spent many years volunteering in Vacation Bible School and in the preschool and nursery. She is survived by her brother, Bobbie Randall Crain of Independence, MO, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Bobbie N. Crain and her mother, Melba Louise (Kirby) Crain. Funeral services will be at Newcomer’s Chapel and the committal service will be Monday, November 29, 2021, at 3:30 PM at Dadeville Masonic Cemetery in Dadeville, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Sandy’s memory may be made to the Sycamore Hills Baptist Church Building Fund, 15200 E. 39th St. Independence, MO 64055.
