Spencer Dalton Foster

Spencer was born January 30, 1997, in Kansas City, Missouri to Shawn and Christine (Gillmor) Foster. He loved his friends and family fiercely. Uncle "Dude" loved his niece Saylor "Little Lady" Foster even more and couldn't wait to meet his future nephew, Stellan. He loved sports (watching and playing). He's been a fan of the Indianapolis Colts and Cleveland Indians since he was a little boy.

Spencer loved celebrating the 4th of July with his family & friends. He loved animals and worked as a Vet Tech at Cedar Ridge Animal Hospital, but seeing animals suffering was too hard on his tender heart. He worked hard to move up into management at Discount Tire and had a loyal customer base because he cared about each and every one of them.

Spencer had such a caring, serving heart; giving so much to others that he left nothing for himself. Spencer is survived by his parents, Shawn & Christine (Gillmor) Foster; siblings, Shelby & Emily (Crist) Foster, Caroline Foster & Tamarick Quinney; niece, Saylor Foster; grandparents, Helen West, Donald & Marian Foster and Carol Gillmor; aunts & uncles, Dave & Carolyn (Gillmor) Storey, Chuck & Heather (Owens) Wieners, Steven & Stacy (Wiggs) Foster, Scott & Tara (Mitchell) Foster, Sheila (Foster) and Aaron Hager; along with many cousins.

Celebration of Life will be at 12:30pm on September 7, 2024 at First Bible Baptist Church, 1441 SE Adams Dairy Pkwy, Blue Springs, Missouri 64014. The family will receive friends starting at 11:00am until the service time. Please help us celebrate Spencer's fun and charismatic personality by wearing Hawaiian shirts. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial gifts to Paisley Paws Charitable Veterinary Foundation through Cedar Ridge Animal Hospital, Independence, Missouri.
