

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother on February 2, 2013 at Oliver Lodge in Saskatoon at the age of 98. Predeceased by her husband Louis in 1989, three sisters, Rosie, Mary, Theresa, two brothers Max and Nick and a granddaughter Brenda. Annie leaves to celebrate her life, five sons, their wife’s and children: Dallas and Edna; Shawna (Rob), Leah (Ken), Catherine (Steve), Charlie and Loraie; Brent, Denise (Scott), Gerry and Yvonne; Dean (Candy), Cindy (Billy), Scot and Leanne; Colin, Daniel (Crystal), Keith and Carol; ten great grandchildren; a sister Betty and brother Steve. Annie was born in Quinton, Saskatchewan on Feb 16, 1915 and this is where she met Louis and they married in 1934. In 1945 they bought their first service station at Dafoe which they ran together until 1955 when they moved their family to Sintaluta to build what was to become a very successful new business in Sintaluta. Annie, Louis and the boys continued to operate White Rose Service well into the late 1970’s when Annie and Louis decided to build a new home in Sintaluta for their retirement. In 1995 Annie decided to move to Oliver Place in Saskatoon to be next to her sister Mary. When she was no longer able to live on her own she moved to Oliver Lodge Nursing home. The funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Indian Head on Friday, February 8, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. by the Rev. George Thattuparampil. Interment of cremated remains will follow in the Indian Head Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Oliver Lodge, 1405 Faulkner Crescent. Saskatoon, SK S7L 3R5.
