The funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph’s R.C. Church, Indian Head, SK on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. by Rev. Francis Hengen. Interment in Indian Head Cemetery.
Charmaine was predeceased by her parents, Herman and Katherine Kattler, her mother and father-in-law, Ronald and Christina Laskey; three brothers, Alex, Lawrence and Ron Kattler; seven sisters: Gertie (Joe) Volk, Minnie Kopp, Barbara Wanchulak, Mary (Alex) Hackewich, twin sister Charlotte Turgeon; sisters Elsie (Raymond) Curts and Evy (Victor) Sebastian; brother-in-law Allan Reynard; two nieces Roberta Laskey and Deanna Seitz and nephew Johnny Volk.
She is survived by her husband and best friend, Gordon, her daughters: Ida Lynn (Don) O’Connor, Diana (Dale) Krushelnicky, her son Ron (Jane) Laskey; her grandchildren and their families: Josh (Raelene) Ayden and Cruz Krushelnicky; Jeremey (Megan) Trysten and Thorin Krushelnicky, Gordie (Chad) Laskey, Sherona (Aaron) Sinclair, Ryan (Megan) and Mackenzie O’Connor and Erin O’Connor; two sisters Alice Reynard and Cathy (Ivan) Laskey, one brother Karl Kattler; sisters-in-law: Irene, Joyce and Elsie Kattler; brothers-in-law George Kopp, George Wanchulak and Regis Turgeon and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family was the most important thing in Charmaine’s life. There was never a day that went by without a call wanting an update on every ones day. She had a terrific green thumb. She loved the Oilers, the Riders, the Jay’s, Curling and following the local hockey teams. Never missing a stat. She worked at P.F.R.A. until she retired and was a member of the Order or the Royal Purple.
In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire contributions may be made to the Residents Activity Fund of Golden Prairie Nursing Home, Box 250, Indian Head, SK S0G 2K0 as tokens of remembrance.
