Daniel passed away at the age of 76 years. Private burial will be at Ft. Qu'Appelle; family memorial later.
Daniel was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Thelma Kuss. He is survived by his sister Gloria Grapentine of Ann Arbor, Michigan, several nieces and nephews in Michigan, and cousins in Regina.
Dan graduated in Law from the University of Alberta. He served as a crown attorney in Edmonton and Regina, and spent several years in Africa as a legal consultant during construction of East African railways. He returned to Canada to work in Ottawa and Regina, concluding his career at S.G.I. Dan's career and life were enhanced by a great facility for learning languages. He enjoyed nature, gardening, reading, photography -- and was always led by a very curious mind.
