Edward (Eddie) is predeceased by his wife Myrna Chypyha; parents Michael and Katherine Prokop; brothers Richard and Ronald; sisters Angela Wolitski (Fred) and Frances Bergquist (John).
He is survived by brothers: Ernie (Barbara), Donald, and Martin(Holly) (Jane McGillis deceased); along with many nieces and nephews.
Eddie believed that the most important things in life were family and friends. He was generous with his time and would help out whenever he could. Eddie loved his wife dearly and felt his marriage was the happiest time of his life. He loved animals and had many loyal four-legged friends. Eddie was a "people person" and he will be missed by everyone he met.
A graveside service will take place on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the McLean Cemetery.
