

Francesca “Fran" Staple was born on November 15, 1960 on the Isle of Wight in the United Kingdom. She passed away peacefully on March 2, 2026 in Indian Head Saskatchewan, leaving behind a legacy of strength, loyalty and deep love.
Fran is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband Brent Staple. Their marriage was filled with deep affection, partnership and unwavering love. Their bond was evident to all who knew them and stood as a testament to a life shared faithfully and fully.
Fran dedicated 23 years of her life to service in the British Armed Forces, serving in peacekeeping missions and on the frontlines across multiple conflict zones. Rising through the ranks to eventually become commander in the common forces she led with strength, integrity and unwavering commitment. Her bravery, leadership and selflessness will be remembered with deep gratitude and lasting admiration.
Beyond her service, Fran was known for her love of animals. Over the years, she shared her life with two devoted German Shepherds and a Husky, each deeply cherished. At the time of her passing, she was the proud and loving companion to her three cats: Misty, Chloe and Foxy who brought her comfort and joy.
Fran will be remembered as a strong spirit, a loyal friend and a woman whose love for her husband, her animals and her country was steadfast and true. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A celebration of Fran's life will take place at a later date.
