We would like to send our heartfelt condolences to Frankie's family.  We are so sorry to hear of his passing.  He was such a kind, friendly man and is a part of many of my childhood memories.  All the kids liked to hang out at the garage and talk to Frankie.  He always made time for us and we could count on him to hand out jelly beans, put air in our bike tires and fill us in on the latest news.  As we got older, any trip back to Qu'Appelle included a visit to the garage to catch up with Frankie.  After the garage closed we would make a point of stopping at the Shell and seeing Frankie before a trip back to Winnipeg.   He was a wonderful person and will be sadly missed.

Oh my memories of Frankie all so very fond! His kind smile and warm heart were what always brought me such joy and was the reason to stop by Krauses gas bar! We truly missed seeing him when it closed! Rest In Peace and God be with you all as you gather to celebrate his life! Wish we could be there! Hugs and prayers from Kim Thomson and Clan!!!

I moved to Qu’Appelle in summer of 1976. Always got gas at Kraus’s, Frankie would come out , always with a big smile and pleasant greeting. Saw him a few times at the Shell in Indian Head, same wonderful, pleasant personality. Condolences to the whole family from myself and my husband Jack. 

Frankie touch the lives and hearts of so many . He greeted everyone with a warm smile and a sparkle in his eyes . 
For those of us that had the pleasure of working with Frankie he made you feel like part of his family and he taught us all his great work ethics.

I’ve known Frankie all my life. He always had jelly beans to hand out whether you were a little punk kid from down a block or a teenager they always made you feel good. He took pictures and posted them when you got a new gal a different car etc. He had the best pop in town in that old slide and pull cooler he kept running at the perfect  temperature . We’ve known Frankie most of our lives. My first memories is going to Krause’s garage with Jane and buying  a pop from the pop machine. He was always so kind. Never a harsh word about anyone. Many years later, if we stopped at the Shell in Indian Head it was always nice to see a familiar face. Frankie will be missed. Our condolences to Frankie’s entire family. 

I have the fondest memories of Frankie ... Always a story to tell and a smile on his face.  He will be remembered by many.  My deepest sympathy to his family and friends.
