Dad truly loved the land and farming and was especially good at animal husbandry. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing cards and watching the Blue Jays. Dad enjoyed a night out dancing or sometimes the casino. And above all he loved his children and grandchildren.
They say that a parent’s job is to teach their children how to survive without them and that the hardest part is admitting success. Our dad taught us much more than to just survive; he taught us faith, respect, honesty and integrity. He showed us how to be good husbands and fathers, wife and mother. He taught us all to be good people, not by saying much, just by setting an example.
"He will be missed.”
