The funeral mass will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Lebret, SK, on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. by Rev. Adelberto (Bert) Lillo. Cremation with placement in the Lakeview Columbarium, Fort Qu'Appelle immediately following Ducky’s celebration of life.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Vonnie in 2014; brothers: Albert, Tony, Raymond, Fred, Ronald, Jerry, Micky and Butch and sisters: Elizabeth, Delphine and Margaret.
Ducky is survived by his children: Marg (Sandy) Friesen, April (Pete) Fike and Sam Desjarlais {Carolyn McIntyre}; his grandchildren: Tiffany (Allan) Arngrimson, Darcy Friesen, Kristy (Jesse) Culbert, Sarah Swark {Jared Fahlman}, Matt Friesen {Courttney Langois}, Jesska (Josh) Forbes, Sarina (Troy) Fike, Casey Desjarlais-Stickel, Michael (Zoe) McIntyre, Alisha (Darren) Francais, Kaleb and Emily Desjarlais; his great-grandchildren: Codey, Kyle, Mikenna, Keena, Easton, Exton, Emmett, Autumn, Mikey, Everly, William, Alexandra, Raven, Keaton and Emberly; his brother Bunky; sisters: Grace and Barbara (Harold), as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Ducky was a vibrant man, caring of others and full of stories and laughter. He could brighten up anyone’s day with a story. May your memories be cherished by all who knew him. His legacy of his character, spirit, kindness and abundance of love will live on through all his relations.
