Violet Ruth Robb

Violet Robb of Qu’Appelle and late of Indian Head, Saskatchewan slipped away peacefully with her family by her side on January 24, 2025. Violet, at 102.5 years, was the last remaining child of John and Magdalena Krause. Violet was greeted in heaven by her husband Dave Robb; brothers Albert and Harold; sisters: Lena, Ida, Lily, Phyllis and baby Ethel; as well as many close friends and family.

Carrying on her legacy are her daughter Donna; granddaughter Amanda; grandson Dustin and his wife Kylee and children: Selene, Briel and baby on the way. Violet is also survived by several special nieces, a sister-in-law and a close friend.

Named for a flower, Violet was known for her large stunning gardens, her beautiful and witty personality and kind heart.

A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Golden Prairie Home and Hayes Haven, who lovingly cared for and treated Violet as their own. Your conversations and care were spoken of fondly by Violet and are a source of comfort to her family.

A celebration of life will be held in the Lion’s Hall, Qu’Appelle, SK on, what would have been her 103rd birthday, Sunday, July 13, 2025 at 1:30 p.m.
