Roy is my father. I am his oldest daughter and second born of his four children. I think I will remember, more than anything else, how he loved celebrating Christmas.  He always decorated the house and tree and loved doing it.  I think I get my love of the holidays from him.  

We didnt get to spend much time together these last few years since he was in California and I was here. You always think there will be time. I wish we could have been closer but he is my Daddy though and I'll always love him. I am so blessed that God gave him to me to be my father.  It was his love and guidance and his  faith in Jesus that led me to that same faith.  I know he and I will be together again one day worshipping the Lord! 

I love you and miss you Daddy. Keep watch over this family of yours until you see us again.

Grandpa Roy was the best..im his oldest granddaughter and i remember many things about him..like all the time we lived with them in florida and the pool we loved to swim in..i remember every christmas there grandpa had a big collection of porcelain christmas village houses and how we loved to see them all lit up with the train going all around. or the first time u introduced me to fish sticks and i ate almost 20..or how good and fast u were on the organ.. he was so funny, such a funny sarcastic almost smart elic sense of humor (i know where i got that from:) im soooo sad to see him gone,but am so thankful for the memories i have and the hope i have that i can see him again one day soon. u r greatly missed grandpa and i wish i lived closer so i could have seen u more. i am thankful u r no longer in pain. i love u and miss u terribly but ur in a  better place than i am. i love u.

Roy was my uncle.My dad was his little brother his only brother.I was his only  niece that he had on his side of the family.  I had some good memories with him.Like the time my mom,dad, Grandma Lillie and I came down to Florida when I was younger and we had Christmas at your house.I remember when you had a pimple or something that was on your face and I asked you what it was and you told me it was a watermelon and that it would grow through the years and would turn in to a big watermelon and it would be hooked to your face. All the times you made jokes and made me laugh.Also I remember the times me and my dad went to the booth you had at the flea market and saw you.That was something you loved to do.I also remember you playing the organ at places and we would go and listen to you play.You were such a great musician. You will be missed.I love you Uncle Roy.Even though you are gone you will always be my uncle and always in my heart.

Roy was a dear friend and special person who will be greatly missed by anyone who was lucky enough to know him.  We worked together for many years, and there was never a day that he didn't make me laugh with his funny jokes.  Roy was a devoted husband to Cindy and loving father to his kids.  I will never forget him.

Dad was a loving and kind man loved his family dearly, Dad will be missed and loved by all.I look back and how he made me laugh. My prayers are with Mom and all the family God Bless, I know in my heart he is happy no more pain. Love you mom

We are very sorry for the loss of your father.  He was a great man, I met him on several times when Greg stopped by after work.  You know he was a great man if you knew his sons, they seem to follow in his footsteps.  At least I know Greg does, so I assume all the rest do also.  I know he is in a better place now and enjoying him self, and leaves behind all his great love and our loss, but we will always remember the good times and memories that you have shared. He was my most favorite grandpa. He was very loving and caring. He loved animals and I believe thats who I got my love for animals from. I wish we would have been able to spend more time together over the years. I will miss him dearly but only for a little while, I WILL see him again. Praise the Lord. I love you bunches grandpa!
