Alexandra Katherine (Boehle) Obermeyer, 35, of Indianapolis, passed away June 10, 2024. Alex was born June 27, 1988 in Beech Grove, Indiana to Steve and Leann (Abel) Boehle. She attended grade school at Holy Name Catholic School and was a 2006 graduate of Franklin Central High School. She was trained as a dental assistant, hair stylist, and beautician.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Phyllis and Paul Boehle, and her parents-In-law, David and Patricia Obermeyer. In addition to her parents, Alex is survived by her husband of 15 years, David Obermeyer, and their three children, Adelin, Adrienne, and Deacon Obermeyer; her brother, Kevin (Hannah) Boehle; her nephew, Abel Boehle; her brothers-in-law Sean (Nate) Obermeyer and Daniel Obermeyer; her sisters-in-law Amy (Jessie) Obermeyer and Alyson Obermeyer; her grandparents Jerry and Janice Abel; and many caring aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Alex gracefully fought, for seven years, and finally succumbed to the effects of Glioblastoma, a form of brain cancer. A memorial gathering for Alex will be held Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home, 4901 E Stop Eleven Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46237, followed by memory sharing from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
