64, of Indianapolis, passed away October 14, 2016. She was born October 14, 1952 the daughter of the late Maj. Edward F. and Bernadine “Dalton” Mahoney. Anita was an LPN and practiced nursing in the Indianapolis area for many years. She lived her final years in Crestwood Village South. She is survived by her two sons: Harry S. (Deborah Friend) Dearing and Teddy (Melissa) Dearing, grandson: Harry E. Dearing, and 3 sisters: Dr. Joan Mahoney, Kathalene Mahoney and Patricia M. Hurrle. She attended Little Flower School. She is a 1970 graduate of Scecina Memorial High School. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 19, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm in Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, October 20, at 10:00 am in St. Jude Catholic Church. Contributions may be made to St. Jude Catholic Church.
