

Anna Carrier, 96, of Greenwood, entered into eternal rest on January 20, 2024. She was born on September 11, 1927 to the late Elmer and Rosa Rector in Conway, Kentucky. Anna spent many years traveling on the weekends. She was in a quartet, The Carriers, singing alongside her husband, son, daughter, and the band. She truly enjoyed this ministry so much. She served as the treasurer for many years at East Side Trinity Tabernacle. Anna loved working for the Lord in any way possible. She was very smart and accurate.
Anna retired from RCA Records after coming to Indianapolis from Kentucky. She had three children after marrying Charles Carrier. She shared many things about motherhood and how she loved every minute of each and every child. You could often find Anna quilting, sewing, cooking, or out looking for a good deal at a garage sale. Her family meant the world to her and she will be missed dearly but her legacy will live on through them for many years to come.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Carrier; daughters, Connie Emberton and Karen Wilson; grandchildren, Sandra Loman, Troy Blakey, and Jeff Carrier; along with her great granddaughter, Alysha Howard
She is survived by her grandchildren, Kelly Parker, Dawn Howard, and Robert Wilson; great grandchildren, Jesse Ray Howard, Nicholas Parker, Christopher Parker, Chris Loman, Tara Loman, and Matt Loman; along with her great-great grandchildren, Ryan Neel, Travis Bernard, Christopher Howard, Wyatt Howard, Jesse Ray Howard, Jr., Aleah Parker, Aiyana Loman, and Jovie Parker.
A Visitation for Anna will be held Tuesday, January 30, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM followed by the Funeral Service at 1:00 PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home, 4901 E Stop Eleven Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46237. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, 1977 S. SR. 135, Greenwood, Indiana 46143.
