Anna Marie Ray

Anna married Frank Ray Sr. and they were the parents to Frank Ray Jr. and Rolanda Bruce.

Anna accepted Christ at an early age and continued her faith journey, joining St. Rita’s Catholic Church where Frank resided as a member. She was an active member at St. Rita’s Church prior to her illness. She was a member of the Lady’s Court, the Usher Board and served as a volunteer at various church events.

After graduation, Anna worked for various employers in a variety of positions. She was a valued employee at all her places of employment.

Anna could light up a room with her smile, uplifting laughter, warmth and kindness. She never met a stranger; welcoming everyone who crossed her path. She enjoyed shopping, cooking, taking cruises, gambling boats and visiting with family and friends.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Donna Singh.

Anna departed this life on December 27, 2024. She leaves to cherish her memory; husband, Frank Sr.; daughter, Rolanda Bruce; son, Frank Jr. (Kim); brother, Henry Bruce (Vicki); sisters, Renee Bruce (Norma), Beverly Bruce, and Karen Hanes; brother-in-laws, Peter Ray (Brenda), Marty Ray and Charlie Ray (Donna); sister-in-laws, Rosie Covington and Agnes Brown; and a host of family and friends.

A visitation for Anna will be held Saturday, January 11, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Rita Catholic Church, 1733 Dr Andrew J Brown Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46202, followed by a celebration of life at 11:00 AM.
