

He is one of 13 children and comes from a long line of proud African American men and women that helped build this great country. His roots run deep throughout Louisiana, Alabama, North Carolina, and Indiana via the Battle, Miles, Bellamy, and Leslie family’s.
Anthony succumbed to health related issues on April 7, 2020.
He is survived by his 3 daughters Sefelina Elletson (Matthews), Teuila Livai (Matthews), Latiana Saccio (Matthews) and 11 grandchildren, including 9 grandsons, 2 granddaughters, and 1 great grandson. Malik Norris, Marquel Taito Solipo, Zenock Tuavale Livai, Siuaki Jaheim Livai (deceased), Chloe Livai, Siuleo Saccio, Aleki Saccio, Arieta Livai, Jarvee Moeai, Semisi Duke Livai, and great grandson Kormani Norris.
Anthony came from a long line of men who served in the military as far back as WW1. He was proud of his military service and served with honor from January 30, 1976 - February 1, 1999.
Anthony loved NASCAR and being raised in Indiana it wasn’t hard to see why. He spent many hours drawing detailed pictures of his dream race car and hoped to one day build and race it.
